About

The Special Events office is responsible for various activities here at Regina, but what it is most known for is putting together the 4-H Fair, Fall Fun Festival, Run for the Schools, and the Gala.  New this year is the Regina NFL Benchwarmer Raffle.

A lot goes on to make these events possible such as providing the newspaper or parish bulletins with an advertisement or information of the event, working collaboratively with volunteers and vendors, getting the entertainment organized, making menus, and so on. But, it is all done for you, the Regina community.

Run For the Schools

2010 Run for the Schools

& hosted by Iowa City Road Races, Inc.

The annual Run for the Schools will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2010. Races begin at 8am and include 1/2 mile and one mile Fun Runs, 5K, 10K and a Half Marathon. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome!

Students and race participants are encouraged to collect donations for our schools through this great family event.

Fall Fun Festival

REGINA 31th ANNUAL FALL FUN FESTIVAL
LABOR DAY WEEKEND

This three day event over Labor Day weekend will be fun for the whole family.  There will be entertainment, food, music and games.  Please mark your calendars!!

The Gala

Save the Date!  Gala 2011 is Friday and Saturday, February 18 and 19 at Hotel Vetro.

Consider sponsoring an auction item. Be creative and fun.  Think about Spring, think about something new for the home or outdoors.  Think about where you would like to spend family time, like movie tickets, movie rentals, restaurant gift certificates, golf, fishing, swimming, camping, shopping, or an overnight getaway.  Baskets of food, baskets of crafts, baskets of gardening items all make great auction items.  We are still in need of auction items for all areas such as family, artwork, dining and entertainment, home, garden and sports.  Call the special events office at 358-2455.
